The game between closely ranked teams ended with third ranked Thunder's (24-19) home victory over 4th placed Trail Blazers (18-26) 119-106 on Saturday. Thunder looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Trail Blazers' players. Trail Blazers were plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was point guard Chris Paul (183-85, college: Wake Forest) who scored 30 points and 7 assists. Canadian point guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (198-98, college: Kentucky) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Thunder players scored in double figures. Thunder's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Damian Lillard (190-90, college: Weber St.) who recorded 34 points (!!!) and 6 assists and guard Gary Trent-Jr (198-99, college: Duke) added 30 points and 5 rebounds respectively.
