American forward Deangelique Waithe (183, college: LIU Brooklyn) orchestrated the victory by scoring 8 points and 11 rebounds. Kenyan center Mercy Wanyama (185-92) contributed with 7 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Guard Paloma Gonzalez (170-99, college: Minnesota) replied with 11 points and 6 rebounds and Sofia Gaos added 4 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Pozuelo.
