Rather expected game when 4th placed Aomori W. (14-18) was defeated at home by first ranked Sendai 89ers (24-9) 87-75 on Saturday. Sendai 89ers outrebounded Aomori W. 44-26 including a 35-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: Inception Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds. His fellow American import center Daniel Miller (211-91, college: Georgia Tech) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Lakeem Jackson (195-90, college: S.Carolina, agency: SDJ Sports) who recorded 24 points and 8 rebounds and South Sudanese-American forward Angelo Chol (206-93, college: San Diego St.) added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively.
