Regular Season Round 16: Aris - Larissa BC 90-72

An interesting game took place in Thessaloniki where 10th ranked Larissa BC (6-10) was upset on the court of thirteenth ranked Aris (5-11) 90-72. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Larissa BC. The game was mostly controlled by Aris. Larissa BC was better in second period 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Aris especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a very good performance for Montenegrin forward Vladimir Dragicevic (206-86) who helped to win the game recording 22 points. Bosnian forward Milan Milosevic (204-85) contributed with 8 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Aris players scored in double figures. American forward Jehyve Floyd (206-97, college: Holy Cross) replied with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 10 rebounds and 7 blocks and his fellow American import point guard Anthony Hickey (180-92, college: Oklahoma St.) added 16 points in the effort for Larissa BC. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Aris moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with PAOK and Kolossos HH. Newly promoted Larissa BC dropped to the ninth position with ten games lost. Aris' next round opponent will be higher ranked Ionikos Nikaias (#8) on the road and it may be quite challenging game.
