No shocking result in a game when third ranked Pelplin (11-3) crushed 11th ranked Biofarm II (2-12) in Pelpin 121-54 on Saturday. Pelplin dominated down low during the game scoring 74 of its points in the paint compared to Biofarm II's 36. Pelplin forced 21 Biofarm II turnovers and outrebounded them 63-26 including a 24-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 39 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Biofarm II's players. Center Mateusz Itrich (201-97) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds. Rafal Komenda (200-98, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Pelplin players scored in double figures. Pelplin's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman Szymon Sobiech (195-2) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Damian Kruzynski (193-3) added 13 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Biofarm II. Pelplin have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of Group A leader, which they share with Arka II and Notec Inowr.
