There was a surprise result when seventh ranked Zamorano (9-9) won against at home second-best Juaristi ISB (12-6) 107-103 on Saturday. Juaristi ISB was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American guard Bryce Canda (193-95, college: Portland St.) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds. Five Zamorano and four Juaristi ISB players scored in double figures. Juaristi ISB's coach Inaki Jimenez rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Zamorano maintains seventh position in Silver with 9-9 record. Loser Juaristi ISB keeps the second place with six games lost. Zamorano will face Gijon (#10) on the road in the next round. Juaristi ISB will play against Estela (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
