The game had a very big importance for third-ranked Real Murcia as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Silver. Real Murcia defeated 10th ranked Villarrobledo at home 76-70. Real Murcia dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Villarrobledo's 26. It was a good game for Jamaican power forward Clint Robinson (203-94, college: UIC) who led his team to a victory with 27 points and 8 rebounds (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field). Nigerian forward Jeffrey Solarin (193-92, college: Idaho St.) contributed with 11 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Real Murcia's coach Rafael Monclova allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard German Martinez (189-98) replied with 13 points and American forward Vadal Faniel (201-92, college: Texas A&M Int.) added 17 points in the effort for Villarrobledo. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Villarrobledo at the other side keeps the tenth place with 12 games lost.
