Very expected game when 11th ranked Cagliari V. (6-10) was crushed on the road by seventh ranked Pistoia (9-6) 73-50 on Saturday. Pistoia forced 23 Cagliari V. turnovers. Forward Carolina Pappalardo (184-96) stepped up and scored 23 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and guard Veronica Perini (175-88) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds.
