Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Ironi Nes-Ziona (8-8) and Galil Gilboa (7-9), which took place in Rosh Pina. 4th placed Ironi Nes-Ziona lost to ninth ranked Galil Gilboa in a road game 80-96. It was a great evening for American swingman Jarmar Gulley (196-91, college: Missouri St., agency: 3Eye) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import forward Michael Young (206-94, college: Pittsburgh) helped adding 19 points and 7 rebounds. Galil Gilboa's coach Lior Lubin allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American-Georgian point guard Corey Fisher (186-88, college: Villanova) with 19 points and 4 assists and naturalized Welsh Tal-Michael Dunne (198-87) scored 13 points and 7 assists. Four Galil Gilboa and five Ironi Nes-Ziona players scored in double figures. Galil Gilboa moved-up to seventh place. Ironi Nes-Ziona at the other side dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with M.Haifa. Galil Gilboa will play against higher ranked Rishon (#3) in Rishon Le-Zion in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ironi Nes-Ziona will play at home against Hapoel Holon and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
