Leader ADA Blois delivered the thirteenth victory. This time they crushed 11th ranked Aix-Maurienne (7-8) 90-58. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Aix-Maurienne. ADA Blois dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Aix-Maurienne's 24. They outrebounded Aix-Maurienne 37-23 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. ADA Blois players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. It was a good game for Benjamin Monclar (192-88) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 6 assists. Stephane Gombauld (202-97, agency: Slash Sports) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Five ADA Blois players scored in double figures. Bahamas forward Jaraun Burrows (203-85, college: PFW) answered with 11 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Theo Leon (180-92) added 5 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists in the effort for Aix-Maurienne. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for ADA Blois. They maintain first place with 13-2 record. Aix-Maurienne at the other side dropped to the twelfth position with eight games lost. ADA Blois will play against Denain Voltaire (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Aix-Maurienne will play against Paris (#14) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
