Regular Season Round 34: Aomori W. - Sendai 89ers 81-79

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Sendai 89ers (24-10) on the court of fourth ranked Aomori W. on Sunday night. Visitors were edged by Aomori W. 81-79. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of Sendai 89ers. Aomori W. looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. American center Daniel Miller (211-91, college: Georgia Tech) replied with 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and his fellow American import forward Jerome Tillman (201-87, college: Ohio, agency: Inception Sports) added 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Sendai 89ers. Aomori W. maintains fourth position with 15-18 record. Sendai 89ers at the other side still keep top place with ten games lost. Aomori W. will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Sendai 89ers will play at home against Fukushima and are hoping to win this game.
