An interesting game for Gunma (22-11) which played road game in Tokyo against 4th ranked Tokyo EX (13-19). Second ranked Gunma managed to get a 4-point victory 85-81. Gunma made 23-of-28 free shots (82.1 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American center Garrett Stutz (214-90, college: Wichita St.) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the effort and Hungarian-American Rosco Allen (208-93, college: Stanford, agency: Pensack Sports) supported him with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Even a double-double of 13 points, 19 rebounds and 7 assists by American center Ryan Stephan (208-94, college: Colorado Mesa) did not help to save the game for Tokyo EX. His fellow American import forward Jordan Faison (201-94, college: Cal Poly Pomona) added 24 points and 4 assists for lost side. Four Gunma and five Tokyo EX players scored in double figures. Tokyo EX's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Gunma maintains second position with 22-11 record having just three points less than leader Shinshu BW. Tokyo EX lost eleventh consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourth place with 19 games lost. Gunma will meet at home Bambitious N. (#4) in the next round. Tokyo EX will play against the league's leader Shinshu BW in Nagano and hope to secure a win.
