Very predictable result in Jesi where third ranked Cesena (12-5) defeated 9th ranked Aurora JE (8-9) 76-67 on Sunday. Guard Andrea Scanzi (194-88) stepped up and scored 16 points and 4 assists for the winners and swingman Matteo Frassineti (197-87) chipped in 14 points. Four Cesena players scored in double figures. Swingman Mattia Magrini (190-93) responded with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and power forward Isacco Lovisotto (206-98) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. Cesena maintains third place in B with 12-5 record having just two points less than leader Benedetto CE. Loser Aurora JE dropped to the seventh position with nine games lost. Cesena will face league's second-placed Fabriano at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Aurora JE will play against Senigallia (#12) and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the Serie A2 just one year after relegation.
