Regular Season Round 18: Benicarlo - Albacete 68-65

There was a small surprise in Castellon where twelfth ranked Benicarlo (4-14) edged 9th ranked Albacete (7-11) 68-65 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was Serbian center Nemanja Djordjevic (203-95) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds. Serbian center Dusan Kostic (207-94) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Canadian forward Ryan Ejim (201-93, college: Carleton) who recorded a double-double by scoring 17 points and 13 rebounds and guard Victor Aguilar (185-98) added 12 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Newly promoted Benicarlo maintains twelfth position in Silver with 4-14 record. Loser Albacete keeps the ninth place with 11 games lost. Benicarlo will face higher ranked La Roda (#11) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
