Regular Season Round 24: Inter Bratislava - Handlova 106-61

SBL top team - Inter Bratislava (19-2) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed seventh ranked Handlova (8-13) 106-61. Inter Bratislava dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Handlova's 24. They outrebounded Handlova 44-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. Inter Bratislava players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a quality performance of international guard Mario Ihring (192-98, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 19 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Serbian point guard Aleksandar Vlahovic (190-90, agency: 011 Sports) who added 12 points and 8 assists during the contest. Four Inter Bratislava players scored in double figures. Inter Bratislava's coach Aramis Naglic felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Jakub Petras (211-94, college: Stony Brook) with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and the former international Tomas Mrvis (200-91, agency: 011 Sports) scored 17 points. Inter Bratislava have an impressive 12-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 19-2 record. Handlova at the other side keeps the seventh place with 13 games lost. Inter Bratislava will play against Zilina (#5) on the road in the next round. Handlova will play against Rieker KN and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
