Regular Season Round 7: Toros - Panteras 71-78

Bottom-ranked Toros is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their seventh consecutive match to second ranked Panteras (6-2) 78-71. Panteras dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Toros' 28 and made 16-of-21 charity shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Toros 53-30 including a 19-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. Luis Dinolis (185-93, college: Broward CC) fired a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Dominican power forward Brayan Martinez (203-91) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points and 23 rebounds. Panteras' coach Adriano Macias allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Point guard Joel Munoz (183-80) produced 22 points and 9 assists and Venezuelan Graddy Osorio (193-87) added 20 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Panteras have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 6-2 record having just one point less than leader Caballos. Toros at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost.
