There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Parnu (8-11) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Tartu Ulikool (6-9) 82-73. Strangely Parnu outrebounded Tartu Ulikool 41-29 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Robert Valge (194-97) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points and 4 assists. Lithuanian center Adomas Drungilas (205-90) contributed with 17 points and 8 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the winners. Four Tartu Ulikool players scored in double figures. Tartu Ulikool's coach Priit Vene allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Mart Rosenthal (194-99) answered with 23 points and 7 rebounds and Latvian center Lauris Blaus (206-90) added 10 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Parnu. Tartu Ulikool moved-up to ninth place. Parnu at the other side keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. Tartu Ulikool's next round opponent will be higher ranked Rapla (#5) on the road and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
