Regular Season Round 12: Glanmire - Brunell 69-49

The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Cork: Glanmire (#2) and Brunell (#8). Glanmire (9-3) smashed visiting Brunell (2-10) by 20 points 69-49. Glanmire held Brunell to an opponent 23.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 37.8 percent accuracy of the winners. Glanmire looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 2 passes made by Brunell's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Glanmire made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was American forward Tatum Neubert (188, college: Colorado St.) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. The other American import guard Shrita Parker (170-95, college: UNCW) chipped in 15 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals. Brunell lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with ten games lost.
