The game between Top Four teams took place in London. First ranked host London Lightning (8-1) defeated 4th placed Halifax Hurricanes (2-8) 112-101. London Lightning looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. The best player for the winners was forward Mareik Isom (206-94, college: Texas) who scored 24 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Swingman Anthony Gaines (193-93, college: Louisiana Coll.) chipped in 18 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. London Lightning's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was forward CJ Washington (203-92, college: UAB) who recorded a double-double by scoring 31 points and 10 rebounds and guard Joel Kindred (192-91, college: St.Augustine) added 17 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. London Lightning have an impressive series of eight victories in a row. They maintain first place with 8-1 record. Loser Halifax Hurricanes keep the fourth position with eight games lost. They share it with KW Titans. London Lightning will meet league's leader Moncton Magic on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Halifax Hurricanes will play against St.John's E. in St. John's and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
