Regular Season Round 16: Amager - Herlev 66-59

An exciting game was played in Kastrup. Second ranked Amager faced one of their biggest challengers Herlev. Host Amager (12-2) defeated guests from Herlev (6-7) 66-59. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 21-15. But Herlev won second period 17-14. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Amager have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 12-2 record having just two points less than leader Horsholm. Herlev at the other side keeps the third place with seven games lost. They share the position with Aabyhoj. Amager will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Herlev will play at home against Lemvig and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
