The most exciting game of round 14 in the National League took place in Kazrin. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 4th ranked H.Galilee (8-6) to second ranked Bnei Hasharon (10-4) 91-89 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of H.Galilee. The best player for the winners was American point guard Kendall Anthony (173-93, college: Richmond) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 assists. The other American import guard Anthony Fisher (191-86) chipped in 27 points. American forward Jerry Evans (203-90, college: Nevada) produced a double-double by scoring 30 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Guni Israeli (182-84) added 19 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Bnei Hasharon maintains second position with 10-4 record having just two points less than leader Afula, which they share with H.Haifa. H.Galilee at the other side dropped to the fifth place with six games lost. They share the position with Kiryat Motzkin and Yavne. Bnei Hasharon is looking forward to face Hapoel H/M (#13) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. H.Galilee will play against Hasharon (#8) in Hod Hasharon and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
