Regular Season Round 19: STK Czarni - Kotwica 92-66

Very expected game in Slupsk where 15th ranked Kotwica (3-14) was crushed by third ranked STK Czarni (12-5) 92-66 on Wednesday. STK Czarni looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Kotwica's players. It was a great evening for power forward Wojciech Fras (202-91) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Marcin Dutkiewicz (198-86) helped adding 17 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side Bartosz Wrobel (190-95, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 20 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Lukasz Bodych (201-90) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. STK Czarni maintains third place with 12-5 record having just one point less than leader Gornik Walbrzych, which they share with Sokol Lancut. Kotwica lost their eighth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. STK Czarni will face Pogon Prudnik (#9) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Kotwica will play against Pruszkow (#8) and hope to win that game.
