Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Oslo: Centrum (#8) and Ammerud Bskt (#7). Centrum (7-11) won against visiting Ammerud Bskt (7-13) 80-73. Centrum forced 20 Ammerud Bskt turnovers. The former international guard Magnus Midtvedt (182-90) stepped up and scored 24 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and naturalized Ivorian guard Samuel-Amed Diomande (193-88) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Centrum's coach Inge-Aleksander Kristiansen allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was American guard Armani Cotton (201-91, college: Yale) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Orji Okoroafor scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Centrum moved-up to seventh place. Ammerud Bskt lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with 13 games lost. Centrum will play against higher ranked Gimle BBK (#5) in Bergen in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ammerud Bskt will play at home against Tromso and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
