The game between closely ranked teams ended with third ranked Pistons' (17-27) home victory over 4th placed Kings (15-29) in Detroit 127-106 on Wednesday. Point guard Reggie Jackson (190-90, college: Boston Coll.) contributed with 22 points and 4 assists for the winners. Serbian Nemanja Bjelica (209-88) answered with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and guard DeAaron Fox (192-97, college: Kentucky) added 22 points in the effort for Kings. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Pistons maintains third place with 17-27 record having nine points less than leader Toronto R. Kings lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the fourth position with 29 games lost.
