There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Stal II Ostrow (4-11) outleveled on the road higher ranked Pleszew (9-8) 100-77 on Wednesday. Stal II Ostrow made 17-of-21 free shots (81.0 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Pleszew turnovers. Guard Lukasz Wojciechowski (184-88) scored 25 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Szymon Ryzek (190-97) chipped in 26 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Marcin Plawucki (177-89) with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 assists and power forward Przemyslaw Galewski (199-91) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Stal II Ostrow have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Stal II Ostrow maintains eleventh position in Group D with 4-11 record. Loser Pleszew keeps the sixth place with eight games lost. Stal II Ostrow will face league's leader Slask 2 WRC in Wroclaw in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
