Regular Season Round 8: Kangoeroes - Chomutov 70-58

Second ranked Belgian Kangoeroes faced 3rd ranked Czech Chomutov. Host Kangoeroes (5-1) defeated guests from Chomutov (4-3) 70-58. The best player for the winners was American Jessica Lindstrom (185-96, college: Green Bay, agency: LBM Management) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds and 6 assists. Latvian Ance Aizsila (178-94, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 15 points and 5 rebounds. Four Kangoeroes players scored in double figures. Kangoeroes' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Power forward Monika Satoranska (188-93) produced 16 points and 6 rebounds and forward Tereza Vorlova (186-86) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Kangoeroes have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Zabiny Brno. Newly promoted Chomutov keeps the third place with three games lost. Kangoeroes is looking forward to face UBI Graz (#5) on the road in the next round. Chomutov will play against Slovanka MB and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
