Regular Season Round 10: KW Titans - Windsor Exp. 97-105

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kitchener. Third ranked Windsor Express faced 4th ranked Titans. Guests from Windsor (5-3) defeated host Titans (2-9) 105-97. Windsor Express looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Jamaican-Canadian point guard Shaquille Keith (196-93, college: Cape Breton) had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American point guard Chris Jones (182-91, college: Louisville, agency: Haylett Sports) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side American forward Akeem Ellis (198-90, college: Coppin St.) responded with 13 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and his fellow American import center Justin Moss (201-93, college: Buffalo, agency: Areus Sports) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Five Windsor Express and four Titans players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Windsor Express have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place. Titans at the other side keep the fourth position with nine games lost. Windsor Express will meet Sudbury F. (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Titans will have a break next round.
