Regular Season Round 31: Tokyo HT - Kanazawa 94-84

Very predictable result when fifth ranked Tokyo HT (18-15) defeated at home bottom-ranked Kanazawa (5-27) 94-84 on Friday. Tokyo HT looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Lance Goulbourne (203-89, college: Vanderbilt) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import center Shaquille Morris (203-94, college: Wichita St.) helped adding 17 points and 11 rebounds. At the losing side point guard Daichi Tomioka (165-95) responded with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and American guard Andre Murray (188-87, college: Portland St.) scored 28 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Tokyo HT. They maintain fifth place with 18-15 record. Kanazawa lost their third game in a row. They stay dead last with 27 lost games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
