We should mention about the upset which took place in Evreux, where higher ranked SPO Rouen (10-8) lost to fourteenth ranked ALM Evreux (7-10) in a road game 87-92 on Friday. ALM Evreux made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. North Macedonian forward Stojan Gjuroski (203-91, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Duran International) fired 20 points and 5 assists for the winners. American point guard Jerrold Brooks (183-91, college: S.Mississippi) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. Five ALM Evreux players scored in double figures. Armenian-American guard Andre Spight (191-95, college: N.Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) produced 23 points and 7 assists and guard Benoit Injai (185-97) added 15 points respectively for lost side. ALM Evreux moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Gries/Oberhoffen. Loser SPO Rouen dropped to the seventh position with eight games lost. ALM Evreux will face higher ranked Aix-Maurienne (#12) in Aix-les-Bains in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
