The most exciting game of round 35 in the B2 League took place in Fukuoka. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Orange Vikings (18-18) to sixth ranked Fukuoka R. (10-26) 76-73 on Friday evening. 24 personal fouls committed by Orange Vikings helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a great evening for point guard Shunto Murakami (183-96) who led his team to a victory scoring 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Spanish center David Doblas (209-81) helped adding 14 points. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists and guard Keisuke Takabatake (183-90) scored 14 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Fukuoka R. maintains sixth place with 10-26 record. Orange Vikings lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the third position with 18 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
