Very predictable result in Bialystok where fourth ranked Zubry (14-3) outscored bottom-ranked Stal SW (0-17) 97-76 on Saturday. Zubry looked well-organized offensively handing out 36 assists comparing to just 18 passes made by Stal SW's players. Maciej Parszewski (195-94) fired 25 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Michal Wielechowski (198-94) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Zubry players scored in double figures. Zubry's coach Krzysztof Kalinowski felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Swingman Mateusz Gazarkiewicz (193-91) produced 17 points and 4 assists and Damian Tabor (186-98) added 20 points respectively for lost side. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Zubry. They moved-up to third place in Group B, which they share with AZS Start 2. Stal SW lost their seventeenth game in a row. They still close the standings with 17 games lost. Zubry will face AZS Start 2 (#3) in Lublin in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Stal SW will play on the road against AZS UW (#9) in Warszawa and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
