Bottom-ranked Kotwica managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the eight-game losing streak. This time they outleveled eighth-ranked Pruszkow in Kolobrzeg 92-73. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 19-point difference suggests that Kotwica is in a good shape to leave the bottom place. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Pruszkow. Kotwica shot 65.3 percent from the field. They outrebounded Pruszkow 42-17 including a 37-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Kotwica especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. Bartosz Wrobel (190-95, agency: Octagon Europe) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 5 rebounds. Power forward Lukasz Bodych (201-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Kotwica players scored in double figures. Kotwica's coach Nikolaj Tanasejczuk used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Patryk Jankowski (197-98) replied with 16 points and guard Roman Janik (187-95) added 11 points in the effort for Pruszkow. Kotwica (4-14) moved-up to fourteenth place. Pruszkow at the other side keeps the eighth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Pogon Prudnik and Klodzko. Kotwica will play against higher ranked Polonia Leszno (#13) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Pruszkow will play against Pogon Prudnik (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
