Regular Season Round 19: AZS AGH KR - AZS PCz 95-61

There was no surprise in Krakow where 8th ranked AZS PCz (6-11) was crushed by second ranked AZS AGH KR (16-2) 95-61 on Saturday. AZS AGH KR forced 22 AZS PCz turnovers and outrebounded them 49-30 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by AZS PCz's players. AZS PCz was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Tomasz Zych (185-87) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. Konrad Mamcarczyk (191-94) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four AZS AGH KR players scored in double figures. Dawid Jozefowski (184-96) produced 16 points and forward Marcin Majcherek (199-99) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. AZS AGH KR maintains second place in Group C with 16-2 record having just one point less than leader Dziki Wwa. AZS PCz lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 11 games lost. AZS AGH KR's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Krakow .
