Regular Season Round 31: Saitama B. - Aisin AW 76-75

A very close game took place in Saitama between Saitama B. and Aisin AW. Sixth ranked Saitama B. (16-14) got a very close home victory over 3rd placed Aisin AW (21-10). Saitama B. managed to escape with a 1-point win 76-75 on Saturday evening. American-Thailand power forward Jalen Robinson (206-93, college: Dalton St.) fired 26 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Bahamas Mark StFort (200-88, college: Warner) chipped in a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds. American Kyle Richardson (200-91, college: Portland St.) produced a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and Kyouhei Kumazawa (180-88) added 15 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Saitama B. maintains sixth place with 16-14 record. Loser Aisin AW keeps the third position with ten games lost. They share it with Saga B.. Saitama B. will again meet at home higher ranked Aisin AW (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Aisin AW will have a break next round.
