Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Nassau: Shockers (#3) and Regulators (#4). Regulators were defeated at home 92-100 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Shockers dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Regulators' 32. Shockers forced 28 Regulators turnovers and had a 31-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. They brought some defensive toughness making 8 blocks. Regulators were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Point guard Lenny Oscar scored 30 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and William Rigby chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Chico Francis responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 17 rebounds and Alexander Rolle (-93) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds. Four Shockers and five Regulators players scored in double figures. Regulators' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Shockers maintains third position with 7-4 record having four points less than leader Rockets. Regulators lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth place with seven games lost.
