Fourteenth-ranked Avellino (4-12) made lots of trouble for first ranked Palestrina (16-2) on Saturday. The visitors from Roma managed to secure only three-point victory 60-57. However their fans expected much easier game. Palestrina forced 28 Avellino turnovers. Center Riccardo Bartolozzi (201-95) scored 17 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Simone Rischia (185-90) chipped in 13 points and 4 assists during the contest.
