The game in Helsinki was also worth to mention about. 4th placed Korikouvot (8-6) played at the court of fifth ranked ToPo Juniorit (8-6). ToPo Juniorit managed to secure a 8-point victory 84-76. It looked good early as Korikouvot took a 6-point lead at the end of first quarter. But then ToPo Juniorit had a 29-15 second period charge getting the lead and Korikouvot was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 76-84. ToPo Juniorit forced 19 Korikouvot turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was a good game for swingman Juuso Kauppinen (188-94) who led his team to a victory with 20 points. Center Federiko Federiko (205-1) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. ToPo Juniorit's coach Eero Nikkarinen allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Forward Joel Mantynen (197-2) answered with 26 points and 8 rebounds and forward Henri Permanto (197-1) added 23 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Korikouvot. ToPo Juniorit maintains fifth place in Division with 8-6 record. ToPo Juniorit's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Helsinki to the arena HBA-Marsky.
