Regular Season Round 14: Haga BG - RIG Mark 68-98

Date: January 25, 2020
Leader RIG Mark recorded the tenth victory on Saturday night. This time they crushed 5th ranked Haga BG (6-5) 98-68 in Norrkoping. The game was mostly controlled by RIG Mark. Haga BG was better in fourth quarter 18-17. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. RIG Mark dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Haga BG's 26 and made 16-of-18 free shots (88.9 percent) during the game. RIG Mark forced 26 Haga BG turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Alan Brzezinski (187-1) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. Forward Andre Lorentsson (201-1) chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds. Four RIG Mark players scored in double figures. Naturalized Bosnian center Jasmin Kovacevic (210-96) produced 16 points and 5 rebounds and Jonathan Sjoman added 4 points and 10 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. RIG Mark (10-1) have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position in South. Loser Haga BG dropped to the sixth place with five games lost. RIG Mark will have a break next round. Haga BG will play on the road against Eskilstuna (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
