Regular Season Round 20: Le Mans - Nanterre 61-75

No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Nanterre (11-7) defeated on the road 13th ranked Le Mans (6-14) 75-61 on Saturday. Nanterre forced 23 Le Mans turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Anthony Da-Silva (186-1) who scored 13 points and 9 assists. Swingman Fletcher Okafor (196-1) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four Nanterre players scored in double figures. Forward Jacques Eyoum (194-0, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Brahim Dohou (193-99) added 11 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Nanterre moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Roanne. Le Mans lost seventh consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with 14 games lost. Nanterre will face Roanne (#6) at home in the next round. Le Mans will play against Chalon (#7) and hope to win that game.
