Regular Season Round 20: Limoges - Boulazac 79-57

We should mention about the upset which took place in Limoges, where higher ranked Boulazac (8-9) was outleveled in a road game by sixteenth ranked Limoges (4-13) 79-57 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Boulazac. Limoges dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Boulazac's 28. Limoges forced 25 Boulazac turnovers and outrebounded them 44-24 including 18 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was center Badr Moujib (205-1) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds. Belgian Joel Ekamba-EyOombe (196-1) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Swingman Neftali Difuidi-Walokwa (193-1) produced 17 points and 4 steals and guard Paul Billong (192-1) added 7 points and 6 assists respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Limoges maintains sixteenth position with 4-13 record. Loser Boulazac keeps the tenth place with nine games lost. Limoges will face higher ranked Gravelines (#14) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
