Very predictable result when third ranked Sluc Nancy (12-5) beat at home 10th ranked JA Vichy (8-9) 69-63 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Sluc Nancy forced 23 JA Vichy turnovers. Point guard Enzo Goudou-Sinha (182-98) fired 16 points and 6 assists for the winners. American Ronald Lewis (193-84, college: Ohio St., agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 12 points and 7 assists. Four Sluc Nancy players scored in double figures. American guard Pendarvis Williams (198-91, college: Norfolk St.) produced 18 points and 6 rebounds and Spanish guard Marcos Suka-Umu (193-85) added 19 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. They maintain third position with 12-5 record having just three points less than leader Blois. Loser JA Vichy dropped to the eleventh place with nine games lost. Sluc Nancy will face SPO Rouen (#7) on the road in the next round. JA Vichy will play against Nantes (#6) and hope to win that game.
