Not a big story in a game in San Fernando where 9th ranked Matenglish (1-12) was rolled over by second ranked Huelva (9-4) 89-62 on Saturday. Huelva dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Matenglish's 32. They outrebounded Matenglish 43-23 including a 17-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. Guard Raul Postigo (186-1) stepped up and scored 20 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and center Sebastian Dominguez (207-90) chipped in 14 points and 11 rebounds. Five Huelva players scored in double figures. DR Congolese forward Steve Kuminga (198-96, college: Cent.Christian) responded with 16 points and 5 rebounds and guard Jaime Macias (190-93) scored 6 points and 7 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Huelva maintains second place in Group D-B with 9-4 record having four points less than leader Lliria, which they share with DKV San Fernando. Matenglish lost their twelfth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with 12 games lost. Huelva will face Torta del Casar (#5) in Caceres in the next round. Matenglish will play at home against the league's leader ULB OH!TELS (#1) and hope to win that game.
