There was a minor upset in Ruvo di Puglia where 6th ranked Roma Luiss (10-8) were defeated by eighth ranked Ruvo (10-8) 79-71 on Saturday. Ruvo forced 20 Roma Luiss turnovers. The best player for the winners was point guard Giovanni Laquintana (187-91) who scored 28 points. Point guard Simone Bonfiglio (181-88, agency: Agency) chipped in 11 points and 6 assists. Four Ruvo players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Andrea Martino (194-95) who recorded 20 points and 7 rebounds and power forward Francesco Infante (202-92) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively.
