Regular Season Round 14: Jamtland 2 - RIG Lulea 71-82

There was an upset in Ostersund where higher ranked Jamtland 2 (6-8) was defeated by ninth ranked RIG Lulea (5-8) 82-71 on Saturday. The guests were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. RIG Lulea forced 22 Jamtland 2 turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Jacob Mansson (188-2) who scored 20 points and 6 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). Denzel George (189-1) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Four RIG Lulea players scored in double figures. Forward John Palsson (190-99) produced 20 points and 6 rebounds and forward Olle Stumer (203-0) added 10 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. RIG Lulea have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place in North. Jamtland 2 lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with eight games lost.
