Very expected game when 9th ranked Amsterdam (2-15) was smashed at home by third ranked Den Bosch (12-4) 90-67 on Saturday. Den Bosch made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. 24 personal fouls committed by Amsterdam helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. International center Thomas van-der-Mars (208-90, college: Portland, agency: Duran International) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. American guard Elijah Wilson (193-94, college: Coastal, agency: Mansfield and Associates) contributed with 20 points for the winners. Five Den Bosch players scored in double figures. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Den Bosch. They maintain third place with 12-4 record having just three points less than leader Groningen. Loser Amsterdam stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost. Den Bosch are looking forward to face league's second-placed Zwolle at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Amsterdam will play against Den Helder (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
