Regular Season Round 18: Oleggio - Alba 89-94

No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Alba (10-7) defeated on the road 13th ranked Oleggio (4-13) 94-89 on Saturday. Alba looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Oleggio was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was guard Diego Terenzi (190-95) who had a triple-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. Forward Luca Antonietti (198-94) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Daniele Benzoni (194-80) who recorded 19 points and 5 assists (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!) and the former international Andrea Pilotti (195-80) added 23 points respectively. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Alba moved-up to sixth place in B, which they share with Omnia Basket. Loser Oleggio keeps the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. Alba will face Cecina (#10) at home in the next round. Oleggio will play against Lucca and hope to win that game.
