Bullets had a 34-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. It was a very good performance for American swingman Lamar Patterson (196-91, college: Pittsburgh, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 29 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international center Matt Hodgson (211-91, college: St.Mary's, CA) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Ukrainian-American point guard Jerome Randle (175-87, college: California) answered with 21 points and 5 assists and American forward Eric Griffin (203-90, college: Campbell) added 21 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Adelaide 36ers. Four Bullets and five Adelaide 36ers players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bullets have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 13-11 record. Loser Adelaide 36ers keep the sixth position with 13 games lost. Bullets will face United (#5) in Melbourne in the next round. Adelaide 36ers will play at home against Melbourne Phoenix and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
