No shocking result in a game when third ranked Orange Vikings (18-18) outleveled on the road 6th ranked Fukuoka R. (10-26) 103-81 on Saturday. Orange Vikings looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. It was a great evening for American-Irish forward Brian Voelkel (196-92, college: Vermont) who led his team to a victory scoring 9 points, 22 rebounds and 16 assists. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) helped adding 28 points (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field). Four Orange Vikings players scored in double figures. Orange Vikings' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Spanish center David Doblas (209-81) responded with 23 points and 7 rebounds and American power forward Kevinn Pinkney (207-83, college: Nevada, agency: SDJ Sports) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Orange Vikings maintains third place with 18-18 record having six points less than leader Shinshu BW. Loser Fukuoka R. keeps the sixth position with 26 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
