Regular Season Round 11: Ragusa - Pula C.Tours 95-58

Prva Liga top team - Ragusa (11-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Pula C.Tours (0-11) in Dubrovnik 95-58. Ragusa dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Pula C.Tours' 36. Ragusa forced 32 Pula C.Tours turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Pula C.Tours' players. It was a great evening for center Ana Vojtulek (187-99) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 11 rebounds. The former international power forward Ivona Matic (190-86) helped adding 15 points and 6 assists. Ragusa's coach felt very confident using entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sara Boric (175-0) responded with 15 points and 8 rebounds and Lucija Begonja scored 14 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ragusa have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 11-0 record. Pula C.Tours at the other side still closes the standings with 11 games lost. Ragusa are looking forward to face ZKK Split (#7) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Pula C.Tours will play against KK Zadar and hope to get finally their first victory.
