Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Besancon (6-15) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Rueil (14-7) 98-89 on Saturday. Besancon was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. The best player for the winners was American forward Gregg Thondique (201-87, college: Virginia Union, agency: Interperformances) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Bosnian center Nemanja Kovanusic (204-93, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds.
